Mixed-media sculpture created in 2015 with painted communion wafers mounted on velvet. 30 inches high by 30 inches wide by 1 inch depth. "Wafers" began as an exploration into color gradients, which evolved into focusing on the wafer circles as pixels on television screens. Later editions of "Wafers" depict television static awaiting a positive signal from the Catholic Church on its views on homosexuality. Wafers was included in the 2015 group exhibition "Off the Grid" at En Em Art Space in Sacramento, California curated by Susette Min.
